When energy from the sun reaches at the earth surface, some of them reflected back to the space but some of them absorbed by the land and water and some are trapped by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere making the earth warmer.

IS IT NECESSARY FOR OUR EARTH ?
Yes, natural greenhouse effect is necessary for our planet, it helps the earth to maintain the normal temperature. But human enhanced greenhouse effect causes a lot of serious issues.
If the natural greenhouse effect would not exist there would have around minus 18 degree Celsius (-18°C) temperature on the surface of earth resulting there would not possible any plant or animal.
HOW GREENHOUSE EFFECT CAUSES PROBLEM ?
Global warming is caused by human enhanced greenhouse effect due to this glacier are melting, ocean level constantly keep increasing, the atmosphere getting warmer day by day and many more making the earth uncomfortable habitat.
HOW TO CONTROL ?
We can surely control greenhouse effect by reducing greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide, methane, chlorofluorocarbon, nitrous oxide etc. Following are some suggestion we can adapt
- Uses renewable energy - To generate electricity renewable energies like solar energy, wind energy even agriculture biomass can be used instead of burning fossil fuel.
- CCS Technology - Carbon capture and storage technology can capture up to 90% of carbon emission from factories and power plants.
- Planting tree - Trees are helpful probably in every aspect. They absorb carbon dioxide and release enough oxygen which we are breathing in.
