Today the world remembers Mahatma Gandhi not only for his practice of non-violence but also as an example of great humanism. Mahatma Gandhi has a great impact on the whole world. He believed that everything possible in the path of truth and honesty. He is the father of non-violence and his birthday 2nd October is celebrated as the international day of non-violence.
From the life of Mahatma Gandhi we can learn a lot of good things which will improve our personality and can make a better society. In this article I have listed some very important lesson that had a great impact on me.
1. Simplicity
Gandhi was deeply satisfied with living a simple life. He usually wore simple khadi which is homemade. He said "the mother earth provides enough for everyone's need, but not for everyone's greed." Greed caused inequality and disturbance in society, remaining the main cause of evil. Greed can never fulfil your desire, rather you will always realize the fewness of things.
2. Non-violence
Gandhi is known as father of non-violence and Gandhi's birthday 2nd October is celebrated as the international day of non-violence. Mahatma Gandhi did some major changes with non-violence in the history. Gandhi promoted non-violence as a means to achieve justice and change.
5. Forgiveness
probably forgive is the best way to enhance the morality. I know sometime forgive is not easy, but perhaps there is no peace without forgive. It's a way to show others your love.
3. Perseverance
Perseverance is an important part of our journey, things are often gets difficult, but we need to stay committed to our goal and dream. Perseverance helps you to reach your full potential. Mahatma Gandhi was committed towards the freedom of India.
4. Humanity
Gandhi had a strong belief in humanity.
There are good people in the world. One of the most precious gift of God to human being is the ability to love. Let's feel the connection by understanding, helping and being a good human.
