Weekly Reflection: A New Experiment

Hi everyone,

I recently came up with the idea of writing a weekly reflection to analyse my past week. This is purely experimental—I’m not sure if I’ll continue it until the end of the year, but I’ll give it a try for a few weeks. Who knows? It might help me perform better, gain deeper insights into my actions and thoughts, and most importantly, keep a personal record that I can revisit anytime.

Since this is the first post in this series, I want to start by discussing my New Year’s resolution.

My Goals for the Year

This year, my focus is on improving three key aspects of my life: physical health, mental well-being, and financial stability.

💪 Physical Health:
There’s a saying: You can have a thousand problems, but if you have a health problem, you have only one. That’s why my top priority is to stay fit. To achieve this, I will:

  • Be mindful of what I eat and drink.
  • Try to wake up early and take a bath before sunrise.
  • Exercise regularly and step outside from time to time. Staying confined to a small space for too long isn’t good for our eyes or overall health.

🧠 Mental Health:
For a strong and focused mind, I’ll rely on yoga and meditation—both of which work like a panacea. Along with that, I’ll practice positive affirmations and work on developing a sharper, more resilient mindset.

💰 Financial Stability:
Securing a government job remains my ultimate goal. I am fully committed to giving my blood, sweat, and tears to achieve it. No matter how tough the journey gets, I’ll do whatever it takes. I swear to myself—I will make it happen.

Eliminating Distractions

To stay focused, I will cut out all distractions that weaken my mind, including things like excessive social media use, mindless entertainment, and anything that drains my energy without adding value to my life.

This is my commitment for the year. Let’s see how things unfold in the coming weeks.
